Halloween

We had a fun Halloween season filled with activities. Bryce has been obsessed with Star Wars and especially Storm Troopers. I couldn't decide if he should be Darth Vador or  a Storm Trooper but once he saw a video of Storm Troopers dancing it was decided.

We kicked the Halloween season off with a small Halloween party with Bryce's friends. We had Halloween themed food and games. It was so fun to see all of the cute kids in their costumes.

Ward Halloween chili cook off and costume parade. No masks allowed so Bryce accessorized with his Jazz hat.

We went to Cornbelly's a few times with friends. Bryce loved it and still asks to go. He sets up his blocks and says "look mom! It's cornbewwy's."

This was the first year in our marriage that we have carved pumpkins. We had Tyler, Nicole, and Nixon over. Russ and I used templates from a book and I carved a "B" at Bryce's request on his. Tyler carved the logo of Nicole's office on their pumpkin and they won a contest at her office.

We also went with a few friends on the Sundance Halloween Haunted Ski Lift. It was so fun and not too scary. I hate haunted houses and so this was my kind of activity.

The person we asked to take this photo cut Russ out.

My boss thought it would be funny to wear this shirt to work.

Halloween day was the climax of it all. We started the day by going to Cornbelly's with some friends. Bryce took a short nap and then we went Trick or Treating at Russ' office. On the way home we stopped by Bryce's babysitter and Nicole's parent's house to see Nixon. After all that we did some Trick or Treating with friends in our neighborhood.
