St. George

We spent fall break down in St. George with Russ' mom and dad, Kristin, Tyler and Nicole. We all drove down Wednesday morning and stayed until Friday afternoon. We had planned to go to Lake Powell and even had the condo booked for months. The government shut down a week and a half ago which also means all national parks are closed and apparently Lake Powell is a national park so our trip was a no go. It has been a little bit cool and it was rainy those days anyway so it's probably better we didn't go. We enjoyed hiking in Snow Canyon, going to the St George Temple, shopping, swimming and eating.

This is the first time Bryce actually watched a movie. He watched all of Up. .Probably because there is balloons and dogs. 2 of his favorite things.

He thought he was pretty cool until he stepped off the step and got a little scared

 Bryce was a little fussy Wednesday night and felt a bit warm but we thought he just couldn't sleep because he was in a new place. Thursday night he didn't sleep at all. He screamed and cried and definitely had a fever. He had got hand, foot and mouth somewhere. He has little blisters on his hand and feel and sores on his tongue. By 3 am we didn't know what to do so we drove him around for about half an hour until he fell asleep. We felt terrible for him but it was a rough night. Russ said he didn't want to have anymore kids after that, clearly he doesn't remember what it was like when he was a newborn.
