Since I obviously slacked a bit on my weekly blog posts here is a recap of the end of August and most of September.
Bryce and I went to the splash pad one last time before it closed with our friends. Bryce loves water so I am hoping we make it to the indoor pool a few times this winter.
I finally finished Bryce's one year photo book! It ended up being a huge book but I love it. I am planning to do a family one and one for each child every year. That may be a bit ambitious but I am going to try.
My mom, dad and nana all came to visit for about 10 days! It is always so nice to have them here. They always take such good care of all of us! While they were here we had family pictures taken by Chelsey Searle, my sister in law's cousin. I'll post them all in a different post but here is one.
Before pictures I gave Brycey a haircut. We thought about letting it grow out but it just got a little out of control so we cut off those red little locks. Call me creepy but I saved some of his hair to prove one day that his hair was actually red.
Bryce at the mall playing on the toys.
Russ and I went to the first BYU football game versus Texas. We got into the stadium and as soon as we were underneath the stadium it started pouring rain! We waited about 2 hours for the storm to pass before the game could start. It was such a fun game and BYU won despite the fact Texas was favored to win. We love football season. It is just so fun to go with all of the Hunsakers and I love to see how excited Russ gets. This year we bought an extra ticket so when Bryce is big enough, probably in 2 more years, we will take him and he can be apart of our tradition.
We got to go boating with some of our really good friends at Utah Lake. It was near sunset and the sky was just beautiful.
I was pretty proud of myself when my office received this survey about me.
Russ and I went on a double date with my friend Gabe and Dave to the sundance full moon lift ride.
We also went to the BYU versus Utah game. Gabe watched Bryce for us and he slept over night since the game ended at midnight. BYU lost and it wasn't a great game. We won the Macey's tailgaters of the game and got a $250 Maceys gift card. We have to split it with Tyler and Nicole since we were all chosen but it was still the highlight of the game.
