After naps, one for each of us, we had a dance party. Bryce cried until I put each of my necklaces on him. He is too cute!
Russ and I finally got to the temple! Russ' sister Kristin came over and watched Bryce for us. We had dinner and JCW then off the Mount Timpanogos Temple. There is a new video in the endowment session. I like it so much more. First, it shows more emotion and more thought in the actions. Second, it looks better and lastly they are better actors.
Thursday night I went over to my friend Katie's with some other girls from her ward we went and got cookies from Slurp and just hung out and talked.
Friday I got up and got Bryce in the stroller for a run. We got about half mile away and it started raining. I was going to keep running but it started pouring rain so we ran back. We did a little shopping and the outlets in the afternoon. When Russ got home we took Bryce for a walk around the block to see the tractor in the neighborhood. Alpine School District is building 2 homes on our block. The students went back to school this week and they have been out there everyday working on one of the houses. I am not sure I am loving having all the high school kids driving around our neighborhood but I will be happy when those last two homes are built.
Russ trying to teach Bryce how to jump. Bryce will say two, if you say one, two, three.
Russ and I planned to hike Mount Timpanogos on Saturday but it rained Thursday night and all day Friday so we were worried about it being muddy and rainy. Also, neither of us have ever done it and no one could go with us so we worried about getting lost. Instead we took Bryce and hiked to Stewart Falls. It has an easy 4 miles round trip hike. Bryce did not want to ride in the backpack or be carried on the way in so we walked most of it. Once we got there he loved playing in the water We ate our lunch and played around for about half an hour then we hiked out. Bryce rode in the pack on the way out and fell asleep. It was so cute and I love tender moments like that. It was so fun! I am hoping Russ will want to do more hikes.
Today Brycey helped daddy drive home from church.
While Bryce napped today Russ taught me how to play Dominican dominoes. It was so fun! I won one and he won one! Hopefully this will become a Sunday tradition.
