Kings Peak

Russ, Kevin, Sterling, Don, Jason, Devon and Chad

While I was in Chama Russ went on a hiking trip with a few of his friends. They hiked Kings Peak in Uintahs. It is 13,500 feet which makes it the highest point in Utah. The hike was 36 miles in 3.5 days. He said it was the hardest thing he has done since all the walking he did on his mission but he loved every minute of it. Once he got to the top a storm rolled in and it began to hail. As he was standing on the rock waiting for Chad to take his picture he could feel his boots start to buzz from the electricity and he knew it was time to get down. Overall they had a safe trip and a whole lot of guy bonding time.
