Las Vegas!

This past weekend Russ and I went with Robie and Chelsea (our two friends that introduced
us) to Las Vegas. It is about a 5 hour drive from here so we decided to take a road trip. It was really fun. We tried to do all we could in our two days of playing but didn't get that much accomplished.
We stayed at the Plante Hollywood Hotel, right on thr strip. Friday night when we got there we just walked around a little and had dinner and Russ lost $70 on the black jack tables. lol
Saturday we walked around and did some shopping. While Chelsea and Robie went to a show Russ and I met up with Spencer and went to the BYU vs UNLV basketball game. We didn't think to get tickets ahead of time and we didn't get in. It sold out and the two scalpers there wanted $60 per ticket (I'd rather go shopping). After about an hour Russ finally gave up and we went to a sports bar and watched BYU lose. I was glad we didn't go in the end because Russ would have been in a bad mood the rest of the night.
The good news is I won all our money back plus some. The casino gives you a voucher for a $25 bet but you have to put $25 of your own money down and I got black jack on mine so I got to keep their $25 plus whatever you make off of a black jack (I think its one and a half?!)
Over all we had a great trip but wish we had more time to see and do everything!
