Christmas in Chama

We had a blast visiting Chama this year. Not only did we go but Tanner, Lauren and Addi came down too. My Aunt Sherri and her kids plus my Uncle Tom and his kids and Uncle Jim and his kids. Nana's house was definitely full but it was so fun. My grandma loves to have us all home. She loves to cook for us all and would keep us around forever if she could.

We did a lot of playing in the snow.

The branch had a Christmas party complete with Santa and carols.

There were few naps, tons of candy and breakfast at my favorite restaurant.

We took a dip in the hot springs in 6 degree weather.  Bryce still asks to go back a month later.

Christmas Eve we opened gifts at Nana's after we had dinner. We usually open gifts one by one but the kids went crazy and all the gifts were opened so quickly. Bryce got a Storm Trooper that he loves and a mini 4-wheeler.

Christmas morning we opened gifts from Santa at my mom's house. It was much more low key and we were able to enjoy it a little more.

Nicole and her family got together and purchased a block at the new Museum of Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point for us in honor of Olivia. We opened the card on Christmas morning and couldn't help but cry. It was such a beautiful and thoughtful way to remember our baby girl. Bryce and I go to Thanksgiving Point so often we can feel like we have a memory of her with us there. We are so blessed to have the Schaefers as party of our extended family!

These are all of my cousin's children. It is amazing that we are all grown up and have kids. It has been so long since we have seen each other and I don't know when we will all get together again.
My cousin Jenna's baby girl, Norah.
