California

July 30- August3

We took a short trip to California with Sherri and crew for Ethan's baptism. We mixed in a little beach and a little Disney while were there.

Day 1: Beach/ Dodgers
Our flight left very early on Wednesday morning and we arrived in California with most of the day left to enjoy! We spent most of the day at the beach then we went to a Dodgers vs Braves game.

Braves lost but we had some Dodger dogs and had fun.

Day 2: Disneyland
We spent Thursday at Disneyland. We got there as soon as the park opened and closed the place down.

Lauren and I ran all around getting fast passes. We may have gone on a few extra rides too.

Bryce loved Mickey. He hugged him and wouldn't stop touching his face.

Russ let Bryce sit in the driver's seat and drive them all around the track.

Bryce loved seeing the Star Wars characters. When he is older I want to try to get him in the Jedi Training.

Make a funny face Russ said.

We were all a little sleepy but Tanner just couldn't hack all the fun.

During the parade Bryce yelled "Elsa it's me." He absolutely loves Frozen.

My mom bought Bryce this bubble gun and he loved it. I love that his face is filled with pure joy.

Day 3: California Adventure
We were all exhausted from spending the day before at Disneyland but we woke up bright and early and went to California Adventure. We were stuck in traffic for a little while but we still made it to the park pretty early. Lauren and I rushed to get Cars fast passes and we were able to do the ride twice. Cars land was amazing. They did such a great job making it look just like the movie. Bryce loved seeing Buzz and Minnie Mouse. My favorite ride was Tower of Terror. We did that one 3 times. My mom and Nana were so nice and took turns staying with Bryce when he wasn't able to go on rides. My Nana still loves roller coasters and went on everything we did. I am so thankful that we are so close to our grandparents and have so many fun memories with them.

Tower of Terror. I was laughing so hard because I was scared.

We only bought one souvenir for Bryce. He loves the bad guys and chose Zurg from Toy Story.

Day 4: Ethan's Baptism/ Dodgers Game
Ethan got baptized! It was so special to share that special day with them. We live so far away, we always miss blessings, awards and other special events. I was able to give a talk on the Holy Ghost. After the baptism we went to Jay's Aunt's house and had a pool party.

Bryce chatting it up with the ladies.

Jay's grandfather had season front row tickets to the Dodgers game and now his family owns them. Sherri and Jay asked us to go with them and boy was it fun! We were able to get 2 balls from the ball boy! We sat through the rain but the game was really fun.

Day 5: Home
We were all exhausted and were ready to head home. We got Pepe's, delicious mexican food, and headed to the airport. We had a great trip. It was fast and furious but would us Jensen's have it any other way?!

He wanted to wear his back pack all by himself.
