February

February was a very exciting month for us! We finally spilled the beans and told everyone we were expecting our second baby and I started feeling better. I continued going to the gym 3-4 times a week and that helped.

Baby announcement at Russ' parent's house.

Fire and Ice at the Riverwoods. We took Bryce to Provo Beach Resort to ride the carousel and do a little surfing prior to braving the cold. Fire and Ice features ice sculptures, live music, fire pits and activities for the kids.

Bryce and Jace

This guitar player serenaded Bryce.

Bryce really got into his cartoons. He loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Henry Huggle Monster, Sofia the First and totally obsessed with Toy Story 2 and 3.

We had a play date at the dinosaur museum. Bryce loves going there. He runs through most of it but he stops to enjoy the sand and the shark of course.

Tyler and Nicole welcomed baby Nixon on February 6. He is so adorable. Bryce didn't like watching mommy hold another baby but I am sure one day he will warm up to the idea. While we visited Nixon, Uncle Tyler let Bryce play with his bobots (football helmets).

Bryce and I went to the ice castles in Heber with Kim (mother in law) and Kristin (sister in law). It was beautiful. I took way too many pictures but they all are so amazing. We went before it got dark then we went to dinner and back to see it lit up. They freeze the lights into the ice. I want to go back next year.

Bryce and Russ relaxing. Bryce loves to have his back tickled.
Another quote.
Valentine's Day. Russ and I got Bryce a big balloon, candy and some dinosaur toys. He was so excited when he woke up and saw them. Tanner and Lauren watched Bryce while we went for a couples massage, dinner at Happy Sumo, and bowling. Russ got me flowers, my favorite chocolate and he knew I wanted a purse and picked out a super cute one all on his own.

Proof I am a terrible bowler
Bryce has started to really like watching sports. No matter what team or sport is being played he shouts "B I U" "Come on" "Go, Go, Go". He also begs to wear his BYU jersey and cries if we don't let him. We also took him to a UVU basketball game with some friends. He loved it and I think he will be a sports fanatic just like his daddy.

I got a bread maker for Christmas and I finally got it out to make a loaf. Russ loved watching it because you just pour all the ingredients in and it does it all for you. We thought we were making banana bread but it was bread with a hint of banana.
My belly started growing. I started to look less like I had too many cookies and more like I was pregnant.
Chad, Russ' brother, gave us tickets to a BYU basketball game. BYU was not expected to win but did. We enjoyed some creamery ice cream and a night out.

This boy loves to take showers. Any time Russ or I are showering he says "Brycey show show too"

We had a fun sleep over with Jace. He and Bryce are best buds so we always love having a playmate for him.

We also celebrated Russ' grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary! We all went out to dinner at their favorite mexican restaurant in Payson then had all their friends surprise them back at Kim's house. They are such a sweet couple. Grandma Thornock said the secret to 60 years of marriage is "patients, faith and you'll get your reward." We are so lucky to have them living so close to us now. I am so happy Bryce will have the opportunity to make many memories with them.

Russ' dad, along with other mayors from around the valley, was honored with a signed BYU basketball before one of their games. Bryce loved cheering for "B-I-U" and eating tons of snacks.

Here are a few pictures we took to put on Bryce's birthday invitation. He is obsessed with tractors and luckily they are building a house just down the street.

We FINALLY got our gun safe. We ordered it before January 1 and it came very late February. Thanks to my mom we were able to get a really nice one. Now I need to learn how to open it.
It was finally warm enough to go to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. Bryce finally rode on the horse the whole time. We always end up buying some of the tractor, fire truck or trucks they have. He loved his fire truck and ambulance so much he slept with them.

Russ and Bryce were dancing. I absolutely love these videos. Bryce loves to play with his daddy!
