Bryce's first tooth September 2, 2012
Russ and I have been thinking for a while that Bryce is teething but as new parents we were totally unsure. He was definitely drooling and chewing on everything he could get in his mouth but we couldn't feel any teeth. 2 weeks ago we started waking up during the night and fussing and wouldn't go back to sleep. We though for sure this was the sign that a tooth was coming in because he is usually a very happy little guy. Still we found no tooth. My mom, nana and papa came to visit for Labor Day weekend and Sunday my mom said I think I feel a tooth in here. I checked and he did have a tooth. (Tooth O, the lower left central incisor.) I will miss his cute gummy little smile. I hoped he wouldn't get teeth for a long time. The hygienist comes out in me and all I can think is I don't want him getting cavities. In 2 weeks he will have his 6 month check up with his pediatrician and I am getting him on fluoride drops ASAP! I am also a little sad because I know this is just one more sign my tiny is growing up.
