This year our July 4th celebration began the night before at the firework car derby. Russ' friends have been putting it on for several years but it was my first time attending. Anyone can create a car powered by fireworks and enter the competition. The prize is the pride of knowing your car went the furthest and you get to take home the traveling trophy that year. Bryce did not like the loud noise of the fireworks this year but hopefully by next year he wont be afraid. Next year we want to make our own car named the Bryceynator. On the 4th we went to the Lehi Legacy Center. I can't wait to take Bryce when he can run around and play because it is a great pool for kids. Then we went to Russ' parents annual bbq they have with their old neighborhood. Bryce didn't care much for the fireworks so we left a bit early and watched the fireworks from our back porch.
